Purchasing Team Lead
About the RoleThe role involves managing daily operations to achieve cost-effective and safe hotel operations.
Main Responsibilities- Receive, unload and process deliveries
- Verify and track received inventory and complete reports
- Work with suppliers to resolve discrepancies between invoices and actual merchandise
- Conduct inventory audits to determine inventory levels and needs
- Inspect deliveries to verify freshness, cleanliness, consistency and quality
- Refuse acceptance of damaged or unacceptable items
- Adhere to food safety policies and procedures
- Monitor stock levels for all food items
- Complete required paperwork
- Operate forklift/pallet jack
Previous experience in stores supervision is essential. Effective communication skills and a positive attitude are also required. Good computer skills and a current Forklift Driver license are necessary.
