About the Role

Seeking a seasoned Purchasing Manager to lead Buildsafe's domestic procurement function. This role oversees purchasing, vendor, and contract management, facilities coordination, insurance administration, and team leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Drive end-to-end purchasing process for the organization
  • Oversight of vendor management, contract reviews, and procurement compliance
  • Support facilities maintenance and insurance administration across branches
  • Lead continuous improvement in procurement workflows and supplier performance
  • Collaborate with Finance on budgeting, approvals, reporting, and price accuracy
  • Provide support to Accounts Payable (purchase orders, bill coding, etc.)
  • Foster a high-performance culture within the team
  • Represent the organization with integrity, professionalism, and a customer-first mindset
Requirements

Minimum 3 years in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles. Proven ability to negotiate, manage suppliers, and improve procurement systems.

Strong skills in Excel and procurement platforms (We use Netsuite). Commercially minded with excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.

Confident leader and team player with outstanding stakeholder engagement skills.

Able to juggle competing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
