Job Summary:

  • This position is responsible for ensuring the security and safety of a venue or property, conducting patrols and checks to prevent unauthorized entry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patrool the property regularly, checking doors, windows, and gates for any signs of unauthorized entry.
  • Be vigilant for potential hazards such as fire risks, equipment malfunctions, and unlocked security doors.
  • Issue security passes to authorized visitors and provide directions as needed.
  • Monitor alarms and promptly contact supervisors or emergency services if there is a breach in security or a fire is detected.
  • Safely handle and transport cash, payrolls, and other valuables.
  • Maintain order at venues with large gatherings of people and ensure crowd safety and prevent disturbances.
  • Conduct investigations for clients, gather evidence, and prepare reports for court proceedings.

Requirements:

  • Valid security license or certification.
  • Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication abilities.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Familiarity with emergency procedures.
  • Prior experience in security or law enforcement is preferred.
