A Day in the Life of a Web Designer

As a Web Designer at our company, you will spend your typical week collaborating on and executing website designs in Figma, building responsive, high-performing websites in WordPress and Shopify, designing custom website assets using Adobe Creative Suite, and working closely with our Production team and clients to refine designs, manage feedback, and implement technical solutions.

  • Collaborate on and execute website designs in Figma, translating client briefs and strategic goals into compelling user interfaces
  • Build responsive, high-performing websites in both WordPress and Shopify, utilising page builders and custom HTML/CSS to deliver pixel-perfect results
  • Design custom website assets using the Adobe Creative Suite, including icons and banners, to enhance visual appeal and user experience
  • Work closely with our Production team and clients to refine designs, manage feedback, and implement technical solutions
About You
  • Professional experience in a similar web design/development role
  • Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX design and development work
  • Proficiency in building custom websites with WordPress and Shopify
  • Deep expertise with WordPress page builders, particularly Elementor
  • Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong skills in HTML & CSS
  • Solid understanding and practical application of UX & UI principles to create intuitive user journeys
  • Exceptional communication skills and a meticulous eye for detail
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and technical aspects of web performance is desirable
