Enterprise Resource Planning Administrator">

We are seeking an experienced DBA to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of database systems.

This role requires a deep understanding of IFS Cloud, Oracle, SQL, and database performance tuning.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database installation, configuration, and maintenance.

They should also have excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Additionally, they should be proficient in database management tools and software.

The Enterprise Resource Planning Administrator will work closely with the IT team and other stakeholders to ensure the optimal performance, availability, and security of database systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, and maintain databases on-premises
  • Monitor database performance and perform tuning to ensure optimal performance
  • Implement and manage database backups, restores, and disaster recovery plans
  • Perform regular database maintenance tasks such as updates, patching, and upgrades
  • Build and maintain user roles and permissions and event configuration
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across the database environment
  • Manage user access and permissions to ensure security and compliance with policies
  • Optimize Oracle, SQL queries and troubleshoot performance issues
  • Provide support for database-related issues and incidents, including on-call support as needed
  • Collaborate with IFS Modules, application developers, and other IT staff to resolve issues and improve system performance
  • Document database configurations, procedures, and issues for reference and compliance
  • Implement and monitor security measures to safeguard sensitive data
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards
  • Regularly review and update security protocols and access controls
  • Continuously monitor database performance, conduct performance tuning, and resolve issues to ensure efficient operation
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience as a DBA, with specific experience in managing IFS Cloud on-premises and Azure hosted cloud database
  • Proven experience with database installation, configuration, and maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle, SQL, SSRS, IFS Quick Reports, and database performance tuning
  • Proficiency in database management tools and software
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
