Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as mowing, aerating, and topdressing to uphold the quality and playability of turf surfaces.
  • Monitor turf health and proactively address issues such as pests, diseases, and compaction through appropriate cultural and chemical practices.
  • Implement sustainable turf management practices, including water conservation strategies, and pest management techniques.
  • Operate and maintain specialized turf equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate maintenance schedules, prioritize tasks, and deliver exceptional results.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their expectations, address concerns, and provide turf care recommendations.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or Certificate III in Sports Turf Management.
  • Cricket Wicket experience desirable.
  • Previous experience in turf management, greenkeeping, or a related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of turfgrass species, growth habits, and maintenance requirements.
  • Familiarity with turf care equipment and machinery, including mowers, aerators, and sprayers.
