Job Description">

We are seeking a skilled Intermediate Plant Operator to join our Transport Operations team. The successful applicant will have prior experience in the transport operations industry, current licences e.g. Traffic Controllers & Traffic Management, Chain Saw Operation and Road Roller Safety etc., strong verbal communication skills, ability to work in a team environment, Class MR Drivers Licence, WHS General Induction for Construction Work in NSW.

The purpose of this position is to undertake field work associated with construction and maintenance projects. This involves operating intermediate plant in a manner that achieves optimum output to enable satisfactory completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate intermediate plant equipment
  • Undertake field work associated with construction and maintenance projects
  • Ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety practices
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management
  • Maintain a safe and healthy working environment

Requirements:

  • Experience in Operating Plant Equipment
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Workplace Health and Safety practices
  • Physically fit to suit various functions of the role
  • Strong verbal communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Class MR Drivers Licence
  • WHS General Induction for Construction Work in NSW
