Heavy Plant Operatives Wanted

This is a unique opportunity to work on a 6 - 12 month contract at a Quarry in Lake Macquarie.
We are seeking an experienced Mobile Plant Operator for the role of excavator operator, requiring the operation of a range of mobile plant including dump trucks and wheel loaders, interpreting inbuilt weight data, daily pre-start checks, some low level plant maintenance, following OHS policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate will have experience with articulated or rigid dump trucks, excavators, and wheel loaders with scales. They will also require a high regard for safety, current OHS induction (white card), current drivers license and reliable car, ability to pass a pre employment medical including drug and alcohol test.
What we offer:
- A competitive base rate of $40 per hour
- Penalty rates for overtime
- Early morning start times (30am - 6.30am)
- Monday - Friday roster
- Weekend overtime available
Key requirements:
- 6 months experience as an excavator operator
- Current certification for articulated or rigid dump trucks, excavators, and wheel loaders with scales
