About the Opportunity

Centacare is seeking enthusiastic and fun-loving educators who are passionate about supporting children in their early years.

We are looking for Early Childhood Educators to work on a casual basis and harness work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with the children to create engaging and educational experiences that support their well-being.
  • Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment.
  • Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
  • Promote the service within the local community in accordance with Centacare's expectations and educational philosophy.
  • Participate in professional and personal development.
  • You will be pivotal in developing our children's lifelong love of learning.
  • Can build a strong rapport with our families, educators, and community.
Job Requirements:
  • Hold a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA equivalent, or be studying or willing to enrol in study
  • Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
  • Knowledge and understanding of the childcare industry practices including legislative requirements and quality frameworks.
  • A passion for the education and care of children aged 6 months - Kindergarten aged in a play-based learning environment.
  • Effective workplace communication skills
