Position Overview:

We are seeking enthusiastic and experienced casual educators to join our team, working in a variety of services across Brisbane. As a casual educator, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, contributing to the growth and development of young minds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Engage in age-appropriate activities that foster learning and development, aligning with the Early Years Learning Framework.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive and inclusive atmosphere, supporting the needs of children and families.
  • Monitor children's well-being and respond promptly to their needs, ensuring their health and safety.
  • Maintain open communication with parents and caregivers, keeping them informed about their child's progress and experiences.
  • Follow all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations, ensuring compliance with the National Quality Framework and other relevant legislation.

Requirements:

  • A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or currently working towards.
  • A Blue Card or willingness to obtain.
  • A genuine passion for working with children and contributing to their growth and development.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a professional attitude.
  • Flexibility to work across different childcare centres and adapt to various environments.
  • A current First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis Certificate (ACECQA Approved) or willingness to obtain.
