Job Description:

A Process Control Specialist is required to oversee the monitoring, control, and operation of plant equipment, processes, and systems in a manufacturing environment.

This role involves working closely with the production team to ensure smooth operation and identify opportunities for improvement.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a control room environment, preferably in manufacturing or quarrying, and be familiar with automated production lines and control room setups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor machinery and systems in the manufacturing facility.
  • Adjust process variables as needed for efficient operation.
  • Respond quickly to emergencies or equipment issues.
  • Solve problems with production quality and efficiency.
  • Analyse data to improve manufacturing processes.
  • Keep detailed records of operations and issues.
  • Ensure safety procedures are followed.
  • Troubleshoot equipment problems and collaborate with maintenance.
  • Communicate effectively with team members.
  • Seek opportunities for personal development.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience in a control room environment, preferably in manufacturing or quarrying.
  • Experience in production or similar role in automated manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with waste industry is an advantage.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues with plant equipment.
  • Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles.
