Project Leaders drive the success of projects in our organization. They oversee the planning and execution of project operations, ensuring they are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard while maximizing commercial value.

Main Responsibilities
  • Oversee site management to guarantee safety, efficiency, and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Promote commercial performance by implementing effective strategies.
  • Develop and manage procurement schedules to ensure adequate resources are allocated.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and communicate changes effectively to the team.
  • Identify and report project risks and opportunities to senior management.
  • Deliver work to specified quality without defects, ensuring production of project documentation (plans, risk assessments, inspection and test plans).
  • Monitor and maintain detailed site records.
  • Drive cost efficiency by continuously challenging processes to improve outcomes.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex projects in the UK.
  • Strong background in civil engineering, with broad experience advantageous.
  • Proficiency in NEC contracts, contract management, and change control.
  • Experience in design management, risk management, variation analysis, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • SMSTS certification.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to challenge designs effectively.
  • Track record of delivering successful projects with minimal guidance.
