Rural General Practitioner with Emergency Medicine Expertise

**Role Overview**
Ochre Recruitment is seeking an experienced Rural General Practitioner to join our team for a locum opportunity in the picturesque town of Smithton, Tasmania.
The ideal candidate will have recent rural emergency experience and a strong background in general practice. As a locum GP, you will work in a busy and friendly clinic, conducting morning ward rounds at the local hospital and providing high-quality care to patients in need.

**Key Responsibilities**
* Conduct shared morning ward rounds at the local hospital (12 acute beds)* Provide high-quality general practice care to patients in the clinic* Participate in shared on-call rosters for emergency cases* Collaborate with the VMO contract team to ensure seamless patient care
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you must hold current vocational registration with AHPRA and have recent experience in rural emergency medicine. You will also need to possess a valid ALS2 certificate or equivalent.
