Expert Mining Specialist

This role offers the opportunity to leverage your technical and leadership skills to enhance capabilities and reputation of a leading Mine Engineering & Geology team. You will provide expert advice, undertake business development, and supervise junior staff.
About the Role:
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring on complex mining and geological issues.
- Conduct business development and client development activities.
- Lead project teams working across various technical disciplines and commodities.
- Prepare reports, proposals, and tenders for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Advice and Mentoring: Provide expert advice and mentoring on complex mining and geological issues to clients and internal staff.
- Business Development: Actively undertake business development and client development activities.
- Project Leadership: Lead project teams working across various technical disciplines and commodities.
- Reporting and Proposals: Prepare reports, proposals, and tenders for clients.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Geology or related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in mine planning and geology software packages highly desirable.
- Experience within a mining environment will be highly regarded.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
