Job Title: Clinical Workforce Lead

Virtual Health seeks a skilled professional to provide leadership and direction to the Clinical Leadership and Workforce support teams. The successful candidate will ensure optimal workforce performance, high-quality patient care, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Staff selection, management, development, and appraisal of clinical leads and senior clinical leads
  • Participating in policy development and implementation, and contributing to the development of nursing and virtual health policy
  • Acting as a consultant and liaising with stakeholders to facilitate quality nursing care and occupational health and safety
  • Coordinating and ensuring maintenance of standards of nursing care for a specific group or population within Virtual Health
  • Providing leadership and role modeling, particularly in action research and quality assurance programs
  • Allocating and rostering staff, including the Senior Clinical Lead and Clinical Lead work schedules
  • Occupational health: identifying, reporting, and managing health and safety incidents in line with the HSE framework
  • Assisting in the management of action research projects and participating in quality assurance programs and policy development within Virtual Health
  • Delivering direct and comprehensive nursing care and individual case management as appropriate within Virtual Health
  • Managing on-call responsibilities on a rotational basis between Virtual Health Clinical manager and leads
Requirements:
  • Registered nurse with a minimum of 3 years of experience and an unrestricted registration as a registered nurse with AHPRA
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience of virtual health services
  • Excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders effectively
  • Commitment to upholding high standards of patient care quality and compliance
  • Clinical experience and knowledge of quality culture and clinical governance methods, including compliance assessment and auditing, trend reporting, and KPI analysis, and clinical risk management
