We're seeking an experienced Senior Traffic Engineer to join our growing team. This hands-on role involves designing and delivering complex traffic staging and management solutions for major infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate will bring a combination of consulting and contractor-side experience, with the ability to lead packages, shape traffic management concepts, and contribute to building a traffic capability that supports Tier One contractors.

  • Design and deliver traffic staging and temporary traffic management plans
  • Support pre-contract and tender phase traffic inputs
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to set up traffic strategies on major projects
  • Engage with clients and site teams to ensure alignment of traffic management with delivery methodologies
  • Mentor junior engineers and help shape team capability

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 10+ years of experience in traffic engineering
  • Strong understanding of traffic management, staging, signals, and road/network operations
  • Proven project delivery and/or project management experience (preferably with a contractor or consultant-to-contractor)
  • Solid working knowledge of road design, including temporary traffic layouts and barrier systems
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and SIDRA
  • PWZTMP (NSW) and/or TMD (QLD) accreditation
  • Accredited Road Safety Auditor (preferred)
  • Chartered status or actively working towards it
