Ground Maintenance Team Supervisor Job

Are you a proactive and dedicated leader looking to make a positive impact in a challenging and rewarding environment?

We are seeking a Trade Overseer to supervise and develop inmates through managing, coaching, instructing, and encouraging them, as members of a team, in order that they may improve their work skills, enhance their post-release employment prospects, and contribute productively to Service/Business Unit objectives.

The successful candidate will oversee the activities of the team to ensure productivity efficiency and other commercial objectives are achieved while ensuring all Workplace Health & Safety, Quality Management requirements and customer service needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and develop inmates through managing, coaching, instructing, and encouraging them.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Current Certificate III in Correctional Practice or the capacity to complete Certificate III in Correctional Practice in accordance with specified CSNSW timeframes
* Current NSW Driver Licence and preparedness to drive a vehicle while performing the role
* Relevant trade qualifications: Minimum Cert III with post-trade experience in one or more of the following: Horticulture or Landscaping or Building/Construction Carpenter
