We have an opportunity for a highly skilled professional to join our legal team as a Data Protection Specialist. This role is responsible for providing high-quality legal, risk monitoring and prevention advice across the company and its regional entities.
Key Responsibilities- Data Protection Compliance: Support the data protection office in conducting compliance assessments of business departments and initiatives.
- Privacy by Design: Assist in implementing necessary technical and organisational measures (TOMs) to ensure privacy compliance.
- Training and Development: Develop and implement data protection and privacy compliance training programs.
- Business Partnerships: Collaborate with business units to ensure compliance with local and international data protection regulations.
- A degree in law from an Australian tertiary institution or a comparable overseas qualification within the EU.
- Qualified lawyer in Australia with 3-5 years post-admission legal experience and a current practicing certificate.
