Job Summary

This role offers flexible hours close to home as a casual employee, with opportunities for career progression and professional development. We are seeking an experienced Home Care Worker to join our team in Hervey Bay.

Compensation Package

The successful candidate will receive an award rate of $36.18 per hour, plus superannuation, paid kilometers, phone allowance, and access to discounts on food, clothing, health, and wellbeing expenses.

Key Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing domestic assistance to customers, ensuring their homes are safe and clean;
  • Assisting with meal preparation and shopping; and
  • Offering social support and transportation to lifestyle activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current P1 class or above Australian Driver's License and a registered vehicle;
  • The ability to work independently and provide solutions to everyday problems;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Emotional intelligence and empathy when interacting with customers; and
  • A willingness to learn and develop your skills through training and professional development opportunities.
