About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Caregiver to join our team at Goodwin Aged Care Services. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in assisting our clients with independent living within their own homes, ensuring they receive the necessary support to maintain a safe, independent, and high-quality lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Domestic Support: Assist clients with daily tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • Personal Care: Provide assistance with personal care activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Transport: Safely transport clients to appointments, social events, and other destinations as needed.
  • Shopping: Accompany clients on shopping trips to help with grocery selection and purchase.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed by medical professionals, under the supervision of a registered nurse.
  • Respite Care: Provide temporary relief to family caregivers, allowing them time to rest and recharge.
  • Socialisation: Engage clients in social activities, such as conversation, games, and outings.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Certificate III Individual Support (Aged Care/Home & Community) or higher.
  • Australian Driver's Licence.
  • Motor vehicle with current registration and full comprehensive insurance.
  • Copies of licence, registration, and insurance.
  • Mobile phone with sufficient credit and data.
  • Medication Skill Set highly desirable.
  • Experience in delivering care outcomes for older people.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Salary and Benefits:
