The Technical Services and Reliability Engineer is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of aircraft. This involves providing technical support, conducting reliability reviews, and evaluating aircraft systems.
Job Responsibilities- Ensure all aircraft are repaired and modified in accordance with OEM instructions.
- Provide technical assistance to the Technical Services Manager for efficient operation of the fleet.
- Liaise with Engineering and Flight Operations department on technical matters and troubleshooting defects.
- Assess technical documents including Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, and Engineering Orders.
- Monitor and oversee activities associated with the reliability review program.
- Evaluate aircraft systems and engine trend data downloads.
- Provide maintenance technical support.
- Liaison with regulatory authorities and industry stakeholders.
- Formal aviation-related engineering or trade licenses, or equivalent experience.
- Sound knowledge of reliability systems and statistical analysis.
- Ability to research and prepare reports for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with CASA regulatory requirements.
- Working knowledge of aircraft maintenance programs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Prior experience with maintenance management software and database management.
