We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Engineering Team Lead to join our organization. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing a team of software engineers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and grow a team of software engineers.
  • Contribute to evolving engineering practices and positively impact team health and culture.
  • Develop overall strategy, planning, and execution of complex technical projects.
  • Lead your team to meet delivery expectations.

The Team:

In Sydney, we have teams developing and supporting our SaaS platform, working on extending functionality and longer-term strategic bets. Each team has an engineering manager, product manager, designer, direct access to customers, and support from specialists in quality, SRE, and specific technologies.

How You Can Have an Impact:

You'll influence the direction of the team and function, impacting strategically on the overall business strategy. Improve others' ability to deliver great work, suggest innovations, and drive initiatives focused on release safety, repeatability, and improving processes. Experiment with efficiency and productivity improvements, sharing learnings with senior leadership.

Is a proven leader who has successfully scaled high-performance engineering teams. Has a strong record of hiring and developing great, diverse talent. Has managed hybrid and remote teams effectively. Has a sense of urgency to deliver results and inspire the team. Has ownership and accountability. Is enthusiastic about diving into code and staying curious.
