This senior leadership position is responsible for overseeing contemporary patient safety practices, supporting quality systems related to patient safety and driving a just culture and learning culture to support high-quality safe care.
- A focus on delivering high-quality, safe care and success with relevant accreditation schemes.
- Leadership of quality systems including adverse patient safety events management and governance.
- Leadership and support of committees that promote high-quality, safe care.
- Clinical governance support for the Division of Critical Care and Ambulatory Care.
- Quality and improvement support of the People and Culture and Strategy, Planning and Performance Divisions.
The Quality Leader is a key member of the RCH senior leadership team. This role will range from A081-A085 ($118,898 - $131,216.80 base salary per annum, plus superannuation).
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated leadership at a senior level within a tertiary healthcare setting, postgraduate qualifications in a related field (preferably at Masters level), relevant industry experience and proven ability in building high-functioning teams.
Excellent communication (verbal and written), preparation of reports and presentation skills are essential.
