Job Summary

The Maintenance Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in our team's success and community growth. This position is responsible for maintaining, improving, and enhancing the overall appearance of our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all maintenance operations, repairs, and preventative maintenance across their designated communities
  • Direct and oversee daily maintenance functions to ensure all team members are trained and adhere to established policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular safety meetings to guarantee compliance with safety procedures and proper training within the community
  • Supervise safety and fire protection programs by inspecting work areas and equipment to verify maintenance personnel follow established safety regulations
  • Delegate and allocate work assignments and schedules for department personnel
  • Manage, train, and onboard all department staff
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Five or more years of prior experience in general maintenance or a combination of education and experience required
  • Must be knowledgeable about boilers, compressors, generators, and various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Minimum of two or more years of previous supervisor experience
  • Licenses and certifications as required by current applicable standards, codes, labor laws, etc.
