Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and friendly individual to join our team as an Intake Specialist.

This is a key role in our organization, responsible for welcoming new participants and facilitating their journey with us.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a client-facing or administrative role, preferably in the NDIS or community services sector.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Initial Interviews: Gather participant information and assess service eligibility through initial intake interviews.
  • Explain Services: Clearly explain our services and the NDIS onboarding process to participants.
  • Prepare Documentation: Prepare and manage intake documentation, including service agreements, consent forms, and risk assessments.
  • Maintain Records: Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with NDIS and privacy requirements.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Collaborate with support coordinators and other team members to ensure smooth onboarding.
  • Provide Follow-ups: Provide timely follow-ups and clear communication to participants and families.
  • Administrative Tasks: Support general administrative tasks related to client intake and file management.

Requirements:

  • Working with Children Check: Possess a valid Working with Children Check.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check: Hold a current NDIS Worker Screening Check or be willing to obtain one.
  • Australian Driver's Licence: Possess a current Australian Driver's Licence.
  • COVID-19 Vaccination: Hold a current COVID-19 vaccination certificate or have a valid exemption.
