Job Description

AECOM is seeking an experienced Principal Water Engineer to join our dynamic Water Infrastructure team in Sydney.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and design of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
  • Manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Mentor and train junior engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and growth within the team.
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions to complex water infrastructure challenges.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in water and wastewater infrastructure design and project management.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, to budget, and to a high standard.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to inspire and develop junior engineers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Knowledge of water industry standards, codes, and best practices.
