About the Role

AECOM is seeking an experienced Technical Director to provide technical leadership and governance on a range of transformational transportation projects across Australia and New Zealand.

The successful candidate will be based in one of our SEQ offices (Brisbane, Maroochydore or Gold Coast) and will work within an industry-leading team to build and strengthen AECOM's transport infrastructure delivery teams and market share in SEQ and across ANZ.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership and governance on multi-disciplinary teams in the design and delivery of major transport infrastructure projects.
  • Commercial and contractual management of projects on behalf of the Consultant.
  • Design experience under design only, design and construct or Alliance delivery models for transport infrastructure.
  • High-quality technical and non-technical report writing in plain English.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in technical leadership and governance of multi-disciplinary teams in the design and delivery of major transport infrastructure projects.
  • Commercial and contractual management of projects on behalf of the Consultant.
  • Design experience under design only, design and construct or Alliance delivery models for transport infrastructure.
  • High-quality technical and non-technical report writing in plain English.
  • RPEQ qualified and CPEng status (or be eligible through a mutual recognition or other pathway).
  • Excellent communication skills, driven by outcomes, with a conscientious and detailed approach, and a positive and proactive approach to the team.
