About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to join our Building Services Team in Brisbane. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading mechanical design and project delivery for major client projects, including technical review and client relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage complex projects and meet delivery requirements on health, defence, transport, and other building projects across ANZ.
  • Lead Mechanical design and project delivery for major client projects, including technical review and client relationship management.
  • Work effectively within a team of multi-disciplinary engineers on a range of projects, using technical expertise to produce comprehensive documentation and drive quality through review of design calculations, specifications, models, and drawings.
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to junior engineers within the business when preparing technical design documentation.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years' experience working for a Building Services consultancy or significant design experience within the Mechanical Contracting field, with RPEQ qualification or Chartership with a relevant professional body.
  • A proven record in technical design and project delivery while maintaining and enhancing client relationships.
  • In-depth understanding of Building Services projects and Standards to impart technical knowledge to clients, junior engineers, and broader teams on a range of major projects.
  • Exposure to running multiple technical projects simultaneously with demonstrable design experience across a variety of market sectors.
  • Excellent communication and people skills with the passion and ability to mentor and train younger Engineers within the business.
  • Drive quality, innovation, and efficiency improvements within the team.
