About the Role

Reporting to the Above Water Systems Director, the Project Director will be responsible for leading a national team to develop, plan, and implement multiple complex upgrade, update, and upkeep projects concurrently to deliver program objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Form and maintain close relationships with a wide range of external stakeholders
  • Manage resources and deliver compelling strategies and high-quality solutions
  • Lead the planning, coordination, and management of program operations
  • Drive effectiveness and results through implementing strategies and plans
  • Manage project opportunities and risks
  • Develop mitigation strategies and assess, identify, and manage program risk and opportunity in line with the company's policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience (when a University Degree is held)
  • University degree in engineering, Project Management, Business Management or other relevant discipline or equivalent experience
  • Eligible for registration as a Registered Project Manager (Reg PM) and certification as a CPPM through the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM)
  • Broad management and leadership knowledge to lead project teams
  • Significant expertise in relevant domain concepts and technology
  • Proven experience in strategy development in an Industry environment
