We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training and Assessment professional to join our team. As a qualified Trainer and Assessor, you will be responsible for delivering training and assessment requirements to our site teams at Fortescue's Christmas Creek mine.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our organization by providing expert training and assessment services. You will work closely with our site teams to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties safely and effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate High Risk Operations Training: You will be responsible for developing and delivering high-risk operations training programs, including verification of competency assessments.
- Deliver Fortescue Specific Training: You will deliver training and assessments that meet Fortescue's specific requirements, including digital training matrices for personnel.
- Maintain Accurate Records: You will maintain accurate and compliant training records, including scheduling duties as required.
- Work Independently: You will demonstrate initiative and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment: You must hold a current Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment.
- WorkSafe Assessor Accreditation: You must hold WorkSafe Assessor Accreditation.
- Proven Experience: You must have proven experience and specialist skills in the specific high-risk work areas being taught.
- Sound Knowledge: You must have sound knowledge and understanding of Mining practices and technical systems.
