About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Manager Organisational Performance to join our team at the City of Palmerston. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership to the organisation on best practices for strategic planning and reporting frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the organisation on best practices for strategic planning and reporting frameworks.
  • Develop and implement effective governance and risk management frameworks to ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
  • Lead the development of corporate performance reporting and strategic planning frameworks to support the delivery of the City's strategic plan.
  • Provide vision, leadership, and governance of the City's ICT, data, and digital strategies to support the delivery of the City's strategic plan.

Requirements:

  • Proven ability to motivate and lead diverse and dynamic teams.
  • Substantial knowledge of corporate performance reporting and governance issues.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and delivering internal audits, assessing, and evaluating risks and business control practices.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to prepare reports, strategies, and policies.
  • Proficiency in budget and resource management.
  • High-level verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly.
