Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Geochemist to join our team. The role involves providing specialized consulting services to clients locally and internationally, utilizing detailed technical knowledge and experience to provide timely advice, recommendations, and project work.

  • About the Role
  • The successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Geology, Geochemistry, Environmental Science or engineering discipline with related experience, as well as 10+ years of experience in geochemical characterisation of mine wastes, mineral waste management and water quality assessments.
  • They will also have previous consulting experience, field work experience, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • The candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing field and laboratory investigations to support geochemical assessments, managing static and kinetic geochemical laboratory programs, and processing and interpreting laboratory data.
  • They will also develop practical mineral waste management plans and management solutions, and prepare and peer review high-quality technical reports.
  • Requirements
  • Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or existing Working Visa (minimum 12 month validity) is preferred, and the ability to travel for project work is required.
