About the Role

Our team is looking for an experienced Associate Geochemist to lead interesting projects with international impact. The ideal candidate will have expertise in geochemistry/hydrogeochemistry and understanding of regulatory requirements in Australia.

The successful applicant will work on diverse projects in mining, renewables, and infrastructure, providing technical support and leadership to multidisciplinary teams. They will also build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues, communicating high-quality outcomes effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and leadership on environmental assessment and management projects across Australia & Canada.
  • Build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues, communicating high-quality outcomes effectively.
  • Work on diverse projects in mining, renewables, and infrastructure, with international impact.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A degree in chemistry, geology, environmental/earth science, or related fields, with a background in geochemistry or hydrogeochemistry.
  • Proven expertise in geochemistry/hydrogeochemistry and understanding of regulatory requirements in Australia, with experience in geochemical risks in mining and renewables projects.
  • Experience with geochemical and water quality modelling, proficiency in software like Gold Sim, Geochemist Workbench, PHREEQC, or Excel/VBA.
  • A passion for mentoring early-career specialists.
  • Interest in client liaison and project management, working within deadlines and budgets.
  • Ability to produce high-quality technical reports and communicate complex results clearly.
