Engineering Manager Job Description

We are seeking an Engineering Manager who will lead and oversee engineering teams, ensuring technical excellence, efficient project delivery and alignment with strategic goals. They will develop and implement work plans, resource management strategies and execution timelines.

The successful candidate will:

  • Develop and manage engineering scope for projects, identifying new business opportunities
  • Contribute to proposals and bids, preparing tender inputs and leading engineering scope
  • Oversee technical staff, managing project design, approval and validation
  • Provide guidance to engineers and designers for project completion
  • Manage tenders, contractors, OE projects, QA/QC processes and overall project quality
  • Prepare technical reports, studies and project-related documents
  • Interface with clients, contractors and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction
  • Support market strategy development and attend internal and external meetings as needed
  • Ensure engineering integrity, manage forecasts and address schedule changes
  • Review vendor documents for compliance
  • Maintain quality control in line with organizational policies and procedures
  • Coordinate with administration, accounts, subcontractors and intercompany offices
  • Manage external engineering resources for successful project completion

The role is based in Perth and requires onsite and offshore attendance and time with clients.
