Nursing Professional

The Nursing Professional plays a vital role in delivering person-centered care to patients within the South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD). As part of an interdisciplinary team, you will work under the direct and indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse and be accountable for your actions.
Key Responsibilities:- Legal Compliance: Ensure adherence to laws, policies, and procedures affecting nursing practice.
- Client Care: Provide care that upholds the rights, confidentiality, dignity, and respect of individuals.
- Accountability: Accept responsibility for your actions and decisions.
- Care Planning: Contribute to planning appropriate care by interpreting information from various sources.
- Collaboration: Work with the RN, the patient, and healthcare team to develop plans of care.
- Patient Care: Provide skilled and timely care while promoting independence and involvement in care decision-making.
- Communication: Effectively communicate and document care to inform and report on it.

- Safety and Quality: Practice within safety and quality improvement guidelines and standards.
