Job Description:

As a Construction Crew Leader, you will be responsible for managing and leading a team of construction professionals to deliver infrastructure projects that support community growth and development. This role requires technical expertise, leadership skills and a commitment to excellence.

The ideal candidate will have experience in civil construction, project management and team leadership, with a strong understanding of safety protocols and quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and managing construction teams
  • Directing internal and external work crews
  • Interpreting technical project plans and site specifications
  • Conducting precise survey measurements and site set outs
  • Monitoring project progress and reporting to the supervisor

Additionally, the successful candidate will need to possess a current truck licence (minimum class MR - medium rigid), a Construction Induction card, a high risk work dogging (HRW - DG) licence or the ability to obtain within 6 months of commencement, electrical awareness certification or the ability to obtain within 6 months of commencement, and a Certificate III in Civil Construction or a similar qualification in a relevant field.
