We are seeking an experienced finance leader to drive operational impact in a mission-driven organisation.

About the Role

This position operates under a dual reporting line to the CEO and Head of Business and Operations. It is a senior leadership role with responsibility for finance, administration, and corporate services. You'll proactively lead a team of 15 and play an active role in executive decision-making, strategic planning, and organisational development.

Main Responsibilities

Lead all financial operations, including statutory reporting, audits, payroll, budgeting, and compliance. Oversee administration, contract management, and corporate governance. Ensure GTO compliance with audits, registrations, labour hire licensing, and apprentice and trainee administration across multiple states.

Requirements

Minimum 7+ years of experience in a CFO or similar lead finance role. CPA (or equivalent), with a degree in Accounting, Business or Commerce. Strong commercial acumen with a solid understanding of finance, compliance and administration systems.

Selection Criteria

Experience in managing teams and multi-disciplinary operations. Experience in contract and financial negotiations. High level of discretion and commitment to maintaining confidentiality. Exceptional accuracy, organisational skills and time management abilities. Willingness to travel interstate as required. Willingness to obtain and maintain required employment screening checks. Experience in NFP, GTO or VET sectors. Multi-state compliance experience.
