Job Title:

Senior Instrumentation Engineer

Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Senior Instrumentation Engineer in the Mining & Metals team. The role involves designing and specifying general instrumentation, valves, and DCS/PLC-based control systems for various projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Control System/Instrumentation Engineering and experience in mining, processing plant, or oil and gas industries.

They will be responsible for providing high-quality engineering support to Bechtel projects and ensuring compliance with industry/regulatory standards.

The position will involve working closely with internal and external clients to deliver successful outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and specify instrumentation, valves, and control systems for projects
  • Develop I&C schedules, cable, instrument, I/O, etc.
  • Participate in design and hazard reviews
  • Mentor and assist junior engineers
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10–13 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated experience in Control System/Instrumentation Engineering
  • CPEng status and current RPEQ
  • Strong safety mindset and ability to comply with safety requirements
