Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Export Air Operations Specialist to join our team at People in Focus. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of airfreight operations, with a primary focus on exports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Registration of shipments and coordination of all relevant paperwork
  • Preparation of export documentation, including invoices and commercial documents
  • Pre-alerts to overseas offices and coordination with airlines and service providers
  • Ensuring security arrangements and procedures are met, including compliance with regulations and guidelines
  • Tracking and updates of flight arrivals and departures
  • Assistance with airfreight pricing and quoting, including negotiation with airlines and service providers
  • Liaison with clients, airlines, and service providers to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in export air freight operations, with a strong understanding of security regulations and guidelines
  • Industry-related software experience, including MS Word, MS Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, airlines, and service providers
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
