About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Hub Sorter to join our Export Operations team at UPS. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient export of freight from our hub.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Freight Handling: Load and unload outbound freight from containers and bags, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Export Planning: Plan and coordinate the flow of sort, ULD load, document audit, and cargo post screening to meet export deadlines.
  • Logistics Management: Manage export logs, shipper lists, airline bookings, and allocations, as well as ULD inventory, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Compliance and Quality: Ensure all freight exported complies with international export requirements and is audited in accordance with approved UPS methods and procedures.
  • Warehouse Operations: Perform warehouse duties as assigned and adhere to OH&S, emergency, and security procedures.
  • Additional Tasks: Perform additional tasks as specified by the Supervisor, including maintaining accurate records and reports.

Requirements:

  • Excellent Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate and timely processing of freight.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
