Job Opportunity in Health Sciences
About the PositionThis role involves delivering high-quality instruction in courses related to health sciences, engaging in curriculum development, student mentoring, and academic research in the field of health sciences.
Key Responsibilities:- Teaching and Course Delivery: Develop and deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and tutorials in health science-related subjects.
- Curriculum Development: Plan, prepare, and update course materials (syllabi, reading lists, lectures, etc.).
- Student Support: Provide academic advising and support to students, mentor and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students on their academic projects and dissertations.
- Administrative Duties: Contribute to departmental and institutional initiatives and meetings, participate in the development and review of academic programs and curricula.
- Educational Qualifications: A minimum of a Master's degree in Health Science, Medical Sciences, Nursing, or a related field (PhD preferred).
- Experience: Previous teaching experience in higher education or relevant professional experience in the healthcare field is preferred.
- Skills and Competencies: Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to develop and deliver educational content effectively, strong organizational and time-management skills.
