Job Description

The Release and Environment Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth delivery of environment changes, code releases, and testing activities. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of software development life cycles, including Waterfall and Agile approaches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish effective controls and communication protocols to manage and report release activities.
  • Closely coordinate release of environment changes and source code migration through various environments.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of source code configuration management, branching, and merging aligned with the testing strategy.
  • Effectively communicate with stakeholders, including program leaders, test leads, and development teams.
  • Manage release meetings and ensure clear documentation and communication to relevant parties.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in environment management, provisioning, and software development life cycles.
  • Familiarity with relational databases, client-server applications, and cloud environments.
  • Strong user liaison skills and ability to read, document, and understand business requirements and technical specifications.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
