Based in Australia, we're looking for a permanent Senior Commissioning and Testing Engineer to join our Sydney team.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity will allow you to develop your skills as an engineer, work on various projects, and grow your career within the Alten Group. As a Senior Commissioning and Testing Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

  • Participating in System Requirement Analysis to confirm requirements are testable and allocating Verification Methods and Phases.
  • Reviewing test plans and procedures to ensure comprehensive coverage of all system aspects.
  • Conducting site tests, performing equipment physical troubleshooting, and managing resources according to the test strategy.
  • Executing V&V tests, including customer acceptance tests, and writing detailed test reports.
  • Managing defects and collaborating with multiple teams to ensure quality delivery of V&V activities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in Communication within Transportation or infrastructure domains.
  • Previous experience working on Construction projects, including Brownfield and Greenfield environments.
  • Experience in Telephony Systems and practical knowledge of System Engineering and IVVQ.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • A valid White Card and RIW.
Qualifications

We prefer candidates with a Degree in Engineering or related fields.
