Facilities Maintenance Role in Sydney

We are seeking a skilled Facilities/Maintenance Technician to join our team in Sydney on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated individual who can thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a vital role in maintaining our fitness and lifestyle clubs in the Sydney area. Your primary responsibilities will include performing general maintenance tasks, repairing equipment, painting, building, and conducting planned maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities;
  • Repair and maintain various types of fitness equipment, including installation and removal;
  • Conduct essential service audits and work with suppliers for warranties and spare parts ordering;
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any incidents or hazards through our WHS system.

Requirements for Success:

  • Be a motivated and proactive individual who can work independently with minimal supervision;
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders;
  • Possess strong organisational and prioritisation skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines;
  • Be confident in managing external contractors and have a passion for the fitness industry.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Previous experience as a Facilities/Maintenance Technician;
  • Experience maintaining a maintenance log system (e.g., Service now or Jira);
  • Australian driver's license and clean driving record.
