About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Technical Service Specialist. As a Technical Service Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of cutting-edge solutions across various industrial sites.

You will provide technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance services to a portfolio of diverse projects. This role requires regular travel throughout the region to various operations for inspections and visits.

  1. Auditing, testing, installation, commissioning, warranty, and breakdown assistance of specialized equipment
  2. Completing service and repair jobs to ensure they are completed to the expected level of quality and within the negotiated time frame
  3. Providing quick response solutions to technical issues that may arise during or post-installation
  4. Liaising closely with stakeholders to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction is achieved
Responsibilities

As a Technical Service Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Travelling to various mining operations for regular on-site inspections and visits
  • Auditing, testing, and maintaining specialized equipment
  • Ensuring all work is conducted safely and in accordance with company policy
  • Identifying opportunities for additional product sales and services through effective relationship management and networking
Requirements

We are looking for someone with:

  • Essential trade qualifications, experience working in a similar role, and highly capable skills with equipment installs and troubleshooting
  • Mechanical or electrical experience is essential
  • A knowledge of the Australian industrial sector, specifically the geography and operations in the region
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive, can-do attitude
  • An inherent technical aptitude with the ability to learn new products and their capabilities
