We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Professional to join our dynamic team at Homebush, Production. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of all machinery and equipment within the production facility.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background with demonstrated experience in maintaining industrial machinery and MIG and Tig Welding skills. The successful applicant will be responsible for performing routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure efficient operations, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical issues in a timely manner, conducting regular inspections to identify potential faults or malfunctions, collaborating with other team members to address maintenance needs and priorities, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines while carrying out maintenance activities, assisting in the installation of new equipment and machinery as required, maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and reporting any major issues to management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A strong technical background with demonstrated experience in maintaining industrial machinery and MIG and Tig Welding skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Desired Skills and Experience: Proven experience as a maintenance technician or a similar role, knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods, good time management and organisational abilities, understanding of health and safety regulations, relevant technical qualification or certification (e.g. electrician, etc.) would be advantageous, willingness to learn new technologies and techniques related to maintenance
