Animal Caregiver Role

Job Overview">

The Animal Attendant position is a dynamic role that requires someone to provide exceptional care for dogs and cats in our facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standard of care, maintaining cleanliness, and performing various maintenance tasks on the property.

This is a 365-day-per-year job with varying levels of intensity throughout the year. Flexibility and adaptability are essential as you will be working independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities">

  2. Monitor and care for dogs of various sizes, ensuring individual needs are met.">
  3. Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of kennels and property.">
  4. Perform maintenance tasks including laundry, cleaning, gardening, and related duties.">
  5. Work effectively in a busy environment with minimal supervision.">

We require someone with a strong work ethic, ability to learn quickly, and a passion for animal welfare. Previous experience with domestic animals is an asset but not necessary.

  • Be able to lift and/or move up to 20kg occasionally.">
  • Able to recognize and report health or behavioral issues among our animals.">
