Job Role: Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technicians

The role of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technicians is vital in maintaining comfortable temperatures across various environments, including commercial developments, government buildings, telecommunications sites, defence bases, industrial facilities, aviation facilities, hospitals, and academic institutions.

We are seeking suitably qualified and experienced technicians to perform maintenance, repairs, installations, and small upgrade works. The ideal candidate will possess relevant trade qualifications, technical background in commercial HVAC and refrigeration, and ARC and restricted electrical license.

  • Evaluate job requirements from drawings and specifications
  • Lay out installation reference points
  • Install and repair components such as compressors, motors, condensers, evaporators, switches, and gauges
  • Verify alignment and accuracy of fit
  • Filling systems with gas or fluid to check for leaks
  • Test-operate refrigeration systems, inspect mechanisms and adjust
  • Remove test gas and fluid using vacuum pumps and fill with refrigerant
  • Inspect and overhaul refrigeration systems, diagnose faults and replace defective components
  • Adjust system controls and mechanisms and reassemble systems
