Job Title

A Transportation Operations Manager leads a high-performing team in a dynamic environment, overseeing frontline transport services and contracts while building relationships with stakeholders, operators, and the community.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage resources, finances, and staff performance of the local team.
  • Drive collaboration, open communication, and continuous improvement culture.
  • Oversee delivery and regulation of passenger transport services, including the School Transport Assistance Scheme.
  • Manage passenger transport service contracts.
  • Act as regulator ensuring adherence to legislation and standards through education and enforcement.
  • Support emergency response efforts during natural disasters.
  • Foster strategic partnerships with stakeholders, operators, and agencies to promote local transport solutions.
  • Provide expert advice to customers, industry on legislation, policy, operational delivery, and manage complex complaints or compliance issues.
