About this role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Diploma qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Only About Children's Melbourne Campuses. As a Room Leader, you will be responsible for providing high-quality education, development, and care to our children, while also delivering an exceptional customer experience and partnership experience with our families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure child safety and welfare at all times by actively supervising and interacting with children.
  • Develop and implement programs that promote learning and development in children.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) and ensure compliance with national regulations and the National Quality Framework (NQF).
  • Collaborate with the wider team to ensure our children are inspired to learn in a safe and exciting learning environment.

Requirements:

  • A Diploma in Early Childhood Education from a recognised Registered Training Organisation (or equivalent ACECQA approved qualifications)
  • Minimum of two years full-time relevant work experience
  • A genuine passion for Early Childhood education and development
  • A creative, supportive and cooperative team player
  • Current Working with Children Check (Employee)
  • Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and EYLF
